I forgot to post about the weekend when we went to a farm to do apple picking for the first time! So fun…and in such beautiful surroundings….can you imagine living a simple, quiet life on a farm? The apples were so tasty…I was so inspired, I went home and baked a pie from scratch-yum!
We also got to visit some lovely & lazy pigs, sheep and chickens……
Getting inspired to start creating the new collections, feeling crazy for color & flowers & pattern mixing but also…..
…. for cool, calm &
dreamy sparkly things……

We are very excited for Halloween on Monday! This year Kaiya’s decided to be a butterfly fairy and has already had a chance to wear her costume to several fun events.
We are also having fun making simple handmade paper crowns….

What an amazing place! I’m not sure who had more fun, me or my 4 year old daughter? …..I just love to go to well designed places with amazing interiors….I am most happy in a beautiful, fun atmosphere with my family. If you can, you should check it out, there are so many great interactive things to do! Kids get to dress up in costumes, perform & sing, create their own videos (complete with green screen), do puppet shows & create music & animation.

It’s that time of year again, the air is crisp, the leaves are changing colors and the holiday celebrations are coming….
we are getting excited to dress up for Halloween, have you picked out any pumpkins yet?
Now that we have headed North, we took a recent trip to Fairy Land in Oakland, CA. This is such an amazing place for kids….so simple & sweet & retro…..It’s been here since the 50’s & legend has it that when Walt Disney visited fairy Land, he was so inspired, he went on to create Disney Land!
